Angseri Hot Spring is one of the most popular Bali Places of Interest the perfect destination for those looking to spend a relaxing day in the centre of the island. The hot springs are located in Angseri village, a sleepy location in Tabanan Regency. The hot springs were initially used as an antique bath area for the locals but has since been transformed into a bathing area enjoyed by both locals and foreigners. Located a couple of hours away from Denpasar using the Bedugul route, the hot springs are hard to miss. Look out for black and white signs that will signal your arrival at the hot springs. An entry fee is payable to enter the springs, but it is very cheap at only around 9,000 IDR for the pool.

Angseri Hot Spring

The hot springs are divided into different sections: double open-air pool locations, 4 enclosed cabin areas for privacy and rooms that can accommodate up to 6 visitors at a time. The rates are standard for visitors, but the private cabins have a time-limit. The private cabins can cost around IDR 35,000, but this sometimes depends on who is manning the doors, as sometimes foreigners will be charged more. You will need to take your own towel and soap, as there are showers on site, however, there are no lockers available, so leave any valuables at your hotel. It is also wise to take your own water and snacks, as sometimes there is no food or drink for sale here. Perfect for the adventurous travellers, the Angseri Hot Spring is a true Balinese experience.

How to Get to Angseri Hot Spring

Due to the public transportation unavailability to get to the Angseri hot spring location in Tabanan, most visitors will use private vehicles. There are two types of personal transport in Bali, which are scooters and cars. Getting a scooter in Bali is effortless, especially if your hotel location is in south Bali. South Bali area such as Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Canggu, Jimbaran, Ungasan, Sanur. All you require to do to get a scooter rental in Bali is to search on Google. Average rental price for a scooter in Bali is around IDR 75,000/24 hours usage without fuel. Therefore, you need to fill the scooter tank before you ride far. But getting a self-drive car rental in Bali is challenging. Now, fewer car rental companies in Bali provide self-drive car hire. If you don’t fancy cleaning your car, don’t want to be complicit looking for a parking space, and want to take a break on the vehicle. I suggest you get Bali car rental services with the driver. The average car hires cost with driver in Bali around IDR 600,000/10 hours usage, also the car rental price includes fuel.

What to Expect at Angseri Hot Spring

Angseri Hot Springs are not a natural pool hot spring. Its human-made pool, with hot springs from nature. Therefore, if you are expecting a natural pool hot spring, you will not find it here. Also, the place and facilities were designed for local travelers to reduce the entrance fee’s price. So you will not find luxury facilities at Angseri hot springs. The uniqueness of the Angseri hot spring lies in the neatly arranged garden. In the garden area, there are coconut trees, fern trees, and neat grass arrangements from the Angseri hot spring area.
